Meet the team Growzy!
The Growzy journey started at Startup Weekend Auckland - a 54-hour challenge to bring ideas to life. It was here that our team Hugo, Zack, Jeet, Joshua, Nilu and Sam connected, driven by a shared belief in the power of community and a simple idea: there has to be a better way for Kiwis to buy and sell local food.
The very core of the team and Growzy was based on community. A community that backs our local growers, supports fair prices, and makes it easier for families to access fresh, local food. What started as an idea to help New Zealand’s growers has grown into a mission to connect growers and consumers, reduce waste , and build better communities across Aotearoa.
We believe in doing good — for our farmers, for our whānau, and for the environment. Every fruit or veggie bought through Growzy will create a fairer, more sustainable food system, where our growers thrive and our communities flourish.
Because Kiwis want to buy local. Growers want to sell local. They just need a better way to do it.
